Welcome to the website of the Gibraltar Public Services Ombudsman

The Public Services Ombudsman is an independent authority, whose functions are to investigate complaints received from the general public about acts of maladministration undertaken by the Government of Gibraltar and certain Public Bodies and Contractors. It is a free service for the general public to make use of and complaints are investigated in a fair and impartial way – we never take sides.

If you have a problem with an entity under our jurisdiction you should first complain to the entity which caused the grievance. If you are not satisfied how your complaint has been handled, or has not been dealt with at all, we may be able to help. Click here for more information onhow
