Gibraltar Public Services Ombudsman 14th Annual Report 2013

Our Annual Report 2013 was laid in Parliament yesterday, Thursday 29th May 2014. The report covers the period 1st January to 31st December 2013 and it contains summaries of investigations undertaken and completed during this period together with reviews and comments of the most salient issues of this last year.
Ombudsman Mario Hook has noted the increase in complaints relating to employment services. He will monitor the performance of the service and, if necessary, will meet with senior management to express his concerns and offer the assistance of his office to identify and address pockets of concern.
Mr Hook has also provided guidance for service providers in relation to delays, service standards and reacting to the Ombudsman’s recommendations.
