Public Services Ombudsman - Zero Tolerance Statement Image

News Upcoming events Radio interviews

June 12, 2021

Our staff come to work to assist others and it is important for all members of the public and our staff, that they be treated with the courtesy and respect they deserve.

Any harassment, persistence, violence, aggression or any behaviour intending to demean or insult (whether in person, over the telephone or in written form), will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

If a complainant is violent or displays any of the above behaviour, they will be asked to stop. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our premises and/or from our list of active complainants. Any pending work in progress, investigation or report writing may also be terminated.

In addition, any threats of violence may also be reported to the Royal Gibraltar Police.

We trust you will understand that our zero tolerance policy is in place for the interests of our dedicated team and of the complainants we do our best to serve.

Thank you.
