Vacancy for Senior Investigating Officer/Legal Advisor

 

1. Applications are invited for the above-mentioned post from suitably qualified candidates who, by virtue of their citizenship, are entitled to take up employment in Gibraltar.

 

2. Applicants must be legally qualified and entitled to practice in Gibraltar and have a minimum of three years post qualification experience. Applicants also need to be computer literate. Knowledge of the Spanish language is desirable.

 

3. The post will initially be on contract terms for one year with an option for renewal and carry a salary in a scale ranging from £30,052.00 to £67,063.00 per annum. Further employment in the post will be subject to satisfactory performance. Starting salary will be commensurate with experience.

 

4. The post demands a willingness to deal patiently and sympathetically with people and adopt an objective approach to complaints and their investigation.
